Luca Bernard has been studying with musicians as the like of P.Leveratto and P.Ghetti, and in masterclasses with William Parker, Barre Phillips, Buster Williams and Miroslav Vitous. Plays in many bands involved in jazz, blues, klezmer and east-european popular music, but also in different projects including theatre and music&poetry performances. He has played in Suisse, France, Slovenia and Kossovo, along Italy, in many festivals (among which are Angelica, Vignola Jazzin’It, S.Anna Arresi, Delta Blues, Valle Maggia Blues – Lugano) and with musicians as Garrison Fewell, Umberto Petrin, Marco Pandolfi, Fabrizio Puglisi, Edoardo Marraffa, Richard Ray Farrell, Alex Schultz. Actually he works for the educational laboratories of the International Museum of Music, in Bologna, where he lives and has graduated in philosophy.
